Aubree Sullivan, LCSW
Equine Therapist

Aubree is originally from Anchorage, Alaska and moved to Southern Utah in 1997. Aubree graduated from the University of Nevada at Reno in 2011. She opened her private practice in 2020 and is Certified in Psychedelic Assisted Therapy and provides Ketamine-assisted therapy and integration.

Aubree has years of experience working with trauma and attachment-related issues. She became EAGALA Certified in 2011 and operates as the Mental Health Professional on the team.

She has always had a love for the outdoors, animals and helping those in need. Following her heart and passion led her to Equine Therapy.  Through her own healing journey, Aubree understands the essential role of aligning the mind, body and spirit when working with those who desire to heal.

Aubree says, "
My passion and purpose is to support people on their healing journey. Combining my love for the outdoors, horses, and helping others has led me to facilitate Equine Therapy. I started this nonprofit, Hope Reins Healing, to support the Southern Utah community with personal healing and growth."

Harley Bjelland
Equine Specialist

Harley was raised amid the stunning landscapes of Southern Utah, where she spent her days embracing the region's rich outdoor lifestyle. Her journey into the equine world began with running cattle and training horses—skills that sparked a deep connection with the animals and the land.

Driven by a passion for both horses and helping others, Harley went on to lead an equine therapy program at a Southern Utah treatment center. Through her leadership, the program flourished—not only rescuing BLM mustangs and giving them new purpose, but also guiding struggling youth toward healing and emotional wellness. Her work created a powerful bond between horses and humans, offering a path to growth, connection, and recovery.

Taylor Shelton
Equine Specialist

Taylor is from southern California and grew up with a love for horses! After moving to Utah in 2021, she began working as an equine mentor by teaching basic horsemanship and the process of how to 'gentle' Mustangs. Helping clients from different backgrounds build relationships with Mustangs was rewarding beyond description. She loves fostering an environment where clients can learn something new and surprise themselves with what they’re capable of.

Taylor adopted her own Mustang named Juniper, a bay mare out of the Palomino Buttes in Oregon. Working with Juniper continuously creates opportunities for personal healing and growth. Taylor believes that horses can be companions, therapists, and so much more!

Taylor says, "I have seen the bond between clients and horses do incredible things for the both of them."
