Thank you ladies for providing such a rewarding experience.
~Anonymous 10-23-25 Substance Use Disorder Group It was fun petting the horse and combing her hair. It was fun. Something different for me.
~Anonymous 10-23-25 Substance Use Disorder Group I totally feel like I bonded with the horse. Made me feel totally loved and wanted. I love connecting w/ the horses. Makes me feel worthy of something & more so loved.
~Anonymous 10-23-25 Substance Use Disorder Group Constantly amazed by how this is exactly what I need each week. Saw a coyote! So exciting to see so close.
~M.J. 10-21-25 Women's Trauma Support Group Equine is empowering me in so many ways. Thank you for being here to hold space!
~A.C. 10-21-25 Women's Support Group Got really emotional in talking about my good traits. I busted through talking about my negative w/no emotion. When I was asked to pick 2 negatives that I wanted to let go of, I got really emotional. I wanted to get rid of unworthy and unloveable.
~S.B. 10-21-25 Women's Support Group I was having a hard time today and working with the horse it was evident we'd have to run, exercise, strongly communicate, and be direct. I wasn't in the mood but in order to see results in her actions I needed to. I felt much better afterwards, I didn't know I would but I guess she did.
~A.H. 10-21-25 Women's Trauma Support Group I was worried about messing up or failing in front of everyone. I took on the challenge and the connection with the horse was worth it. Watching the horse and its communication as well, was informing and interesting and connecting. I feel like I did the connection, leadership, communication and trust. It becomes her choice to connect and consent - steps/energy match is a very amazing feeling.
~Anonymous 09-23-25 Women's Trauma Support Group I'm starting to come to grips w/ what the horses are reflecting back to me.
~ Anonymous 10-23-25 Substance Use Disorder Group My 1st time around horses with being here has been the best relaxation experience. I have a large respect for horses, not that I didn't before. Seeing how Barb the Mini Horse relaxed after contact shows that they have feelings like we do. Thank you. ~Anonymous 10-23-25
Equine tonight made me feel very relaxed and comforted. Thank you guys very much. You guys make my night and I really enjoy myself every time I come here.
~Anonymous 10-23-25 Substance Use Disorder Group Thank you for this time being w/ the horses. I have grown into the happiest version of me. I always feel better after coming.
~A.S. 10-21-25 Women's Trauma Support Group That was a good exercise for me to write out the negative labels next to how I think of myself. The horse coming to me immediately calmed me and brought me back to myself. Petting the horse immediately calmed me inside drastically. Seeing the coyote was great.
~A.S. 10-21-25 Women's Trauma Support Group These sessions have pulled me deeper into myself in ways that cannot be explained... so grateful for these experiences.
~A.C. 10-21-25 Women's Trauma Support Group I liked the journaling questions and the opportunity to sit and take care of myself only--and listen to wind and horses and watch them interact.
~AS Women's Group Participant Great first session. Had a good connection with Moonshine, still learning to trust Dakota.

~MJ Women's Group Participant "I am grateful to have found this grant program, there is a lot of energy that animals hold that connects right to the unspoken language of our nervous system in ways people can't."
