What is Equine Therapy?

Equine therapy involves a licensed therapist guiding clients through exercises where clients interact with horses on the ground. This innovative and effective treatment method brings faster breakthroughs than traditional in-office therapy alone.

Hope Reins Healing incorporates an evidence-based model. We use a team-based approach including a licensed Mental Health Professional and an Equine Specialist working together with horses and clients as equal partners in an experiential process that empowers life-changing outcomes.

We support clients who seek a powerful healing experience by utilizing the highly attuned nature of horses. Our team
implements an evidence-based approach to equine therapy which includes ground-based
treatment sessions on a beautiful 40-acre ranch. Our herd intuitively provides an authentic
learning and healing environment for those seeking clarity, peace, community, innovative tools, and a
newfound hope.  We teach skills such as mindfulness, somatic awareness, boundaries,
communication skills, and emphasize the importance of community as a powerful part of the healing process.
